My name is Marquise Snead-Gray. I am creative, crocheting, and clothing designer. I love making different outfits in my local area. People love seeing a young man crocheting. A lot of people don’t see younger people crocheting because it’s considered a dead trend, but I am certainly going to bring it back alive and in style. My homemade creations are warm, loving, and made with a lot of care.

I have been crocheting since September 2024. I started off crocheting with red yarn. I didn’t know where to start, so I went on YouTube to learn. I would say single chains are an easy step, but keeping the tension consistent is the hardest part for me. After learning various techniques and skills to enhance my abilities, I started making shirts, sweaters, hoodies, shorts, new-style hats, blankets, and more. My favorite project overall is making 5 eagle hats and a jersey.

Now here I am, starting my own business suggested by my grandfather. I bought several pieces of equipment to finish my orders much faster. My first order was a baby boy sweater, hat, and blanket. It took me a whole week to finish, and it turned out great. At the end of the day, I made 80 dollars. YEA!!!!!
